23 walkers enjoyed a mild and dry day on Donside with fantastic Autumn colours. 19 walkers were dropped at the layby just past Glenbuchat Castle to start a walk of up to 7 miles. The remaining 4 enjoyed coffee at Goodbrand and Ross further up the Glen as Jules the driver was happy to take us there. The young chap who was serving was relieved to find although we arrived in a big coach there were only 5 of us. After coffee returned to layby and managed to fit in a walk. Everyone was back at the bus by 2pm (even those who did an extra 3 miles). Some parts were slippery underfoot at the top but generally a very pleasant walk. On the way back to Aberdeen had time for a half hour stop in Alford for refreshments. Heather
