31 walkers turned up for this outing. After a 2 hour journey to Grant Park in Forres we stopped for a short comfort break. The weather was fine although a little chilly mainly due to the stiff breeze blowing in from the South West. The bus then headed for Dunphail & one walker was dropped off just before our main starting point as they wished to do a slightly shorter walk. At the starting point 29 walkers alighted & made their way back to Forres with one person opting to run a different route following the River Findhorn. The going was easy along well made paths which for the most part were on the former railway line into Forres & the weather stayed dry albeit cool with the wind behind our backs. There were quite a few new walkers on this trip & they appeared to enjoy themselves, taking selfies & photos of the local sights along the way. The quick walkers had a drink (or maybe two?) in a local pub whilst slower walkers settled for an ice cream at the kiosk in Grant Park. All in all it was a most enjoyable day & we left Forres on time  to arrive back in Aberdeen before 7:00 p.m. Gilbert
