There was a covering of snow when we left Aberdeen for our drive north, but after passing Peterhead the fields were clear of snow. Jules managed to negotiate the narrow icy roads to the start at Old Rattray where 20 members left the bus to do the full walk. 5 members went on to do a shorter walk from St Combs, then Jules and Wendy went to the lighthouse museum at Fraserburgh. We had a brief sleet shower but otherwise a clear frosty sunny day. Refreshments were taken in Fraserburgh and we left a half hour early. Fiona
