This walk was the last of the 9.00 starts winter 2022-2023. We had a good attendance with 32 people on the bus, following a comfort stop in Portsoy we reached the start/finish point just before 11.00.
There were a variety of choices for the route to the Bin Hill and most of us used the same track, just below the hill there is a turn off which is up and back. Though most people did the steep final ascent there was still a little low level mist which cleared during the lunch stop a few gave the top a miss and followed the return route back to where the bus was parked. By early afternoon the sky had cleared and there was blue sky. With everyone back in good time there was time for a refreshment stop in Cullen before returning to Aberdeen via Banff with drop offs at Oldmeldrum and Stoneywood . Hamish
