We had 22 people on today’s walk, a few of those being new to the club and on their first group outing. After a comfort stop at Brechin Garden Centre we reached the drop off at Glen Doll about 10.15am. Most opted to do the walk anti-clockwise via Corrie Fee while 2 took the route up the Shank of Drumfollow they all found it rather cool up on the tops. Four others opted for an easier walk taking the diversion along the south bank of the White Water and crossing the footbridge on the edge of the forested area onto Jocks` Road as far as Davies` Boorachie to see the refurbished shelter before retracing their steps. With everyone back on time we enjoyed a half hour refreshment stop at The Clova Hotel then Jules our driver got us back in Aberdeen about an hour early in time for the F1 highlights or Countryfile on TV.
