There were 17 members out on today’s walk. 14 got off the bus at Linn o’ Dee to do the Glen Feshie through walk while Frank, Rosemary and Kris remained on the bus to do shorter walks at the far end. The weather was better than the forecast with only one brief shower and warm sunshine as we walked down Glen Feshie. Recent heavy rain had swollen the rivers causing a few detours to find a safe, dry crossing. Due to our early start and late finish our driver had to have a 9 hour break so the bus was not due to leave Achlean until 8.00pm (1 hour later than scheduled). 4 thirsty walkers ordered a taxi to Aviemore for refreshments. With everyone safely back we left at 8.00pm to pick up the others at Aviemore. We made good time on the journey home and managed a short pub stop at Dufftown arriving back in Aberdeen at 11.30pm. Alan.
