Twenty-five walkers boarded the bus at Aberdeen, with one pick up on the way. Long distance member Colin Chapman joined us at Lower Largo for the start of the walk; it was nice to see him again and hopefully he will manage to join us again soon. Five walkers stayed on the bus to do a shorter walk from Elie, but the remaining twenty-two did the full walk. Three people opted to do the chain walk past Kincraig point, but the rest stuck to the higher level route. The route was a mix of beach walking and cliff tops, with interesting diversions through Elie, St Monans and Pittenweem. It was a fine but blustery day, with only a few rain showers along the way. Everyone arrived in Anstruther in good time, to enjoy beer, cream teas or ice cream, and we left slightly ahead of schedule to arrive back in Aberdeen in good time. Janet.
