Members are reminded that the club has organised training in basic navigation using a map and compass and all members are welcome.
The event is free and is being held in the Sportsman’s club, 11 Queens Road, Aberdeen. The venue is just up from the Dutchmill Hotel and there’s a giant Monkey Puzzle tree in the front garden and there is also a bus stop outside the front.
The event commences at 7;30 and should last around 2 hours. We will provide OS maps & compasses for your use on the night and intend to follow up the training with some practical application of your knowledge on future walks.
