Linda, one of our longtime hillwalking friends was married on Saturday 25th May. Linda & David tied the knot at a ceremony held at the Palm Court Hotel in Aberdeen. Linda was resplendent in a a beautiful, long white dress & David looked great in the kilt he wore specially for the occasion.
Several other close hillwalking friends attended the occasion – Christine was Linda’s Bridesmaid and Ela, Mo & Kathleen also attended. All the ladies looked great in their finery – quite a change from their normal gear worn on a hillwalking outing!
A few others from our hillwalking club attended the evening function at the Palm Court, again dressed in their Sunday best. It was good to see Margaret again who has missed all the walks since her traumas involving cows & bikes. The Disc Jockey kept everyone happy with his choice of music which seemed to cater for all tastes. The dance floor was busy all night and the partying went on until the early hours although it was well past my bedtime when we left around 11:45 pm.
It was a splendid occasion enjoyed by all and we all wish Linda and David a long and happy marriage.
