From todays start point walk northwards to NJ341023 where the Morven Burn is crossed, the track then follows the Morven burn for 0.5 Kilometre before turning eastwards before passing a track joining from the right. Just after this turn north and follow Little Burn uphill before swinging right to ascend to a sub top of Morven and continuing uphill to reach the cairn on the Summit at 871 metres. Leave the top in an easterly direction on a worn track. Descending (somewhat steeply) towards Balhennie NJ 406042 and follow the vehicle track which winds eastwards to the unclassified road, turn right and follow the road to Bridgend NJ427039 turning left following path northeast for 1 kilometre to the middle of the village. The bus should be at the at the western end of the village beside the hall.

Shorter option.
As per the main walk leave the bus at Lary taking the track up hill for 2 kilometres before turning right and crossing the Morven Burn at NJ 341022 and follow stream uphill for 500 metres before track turns eastward for about 5.5 kilometres to NJ397024 bear left reaching NJ407632 after about 1.8 K`metres. From here there are 2 options
1. North to cross the Coinlach Burn then northeast to Bridgefoot, turn right here and follow the road to Bridgend NJ427039 follow the path on left for 1 K`metre to the centre of the village.

2. Turn right following path downhill past Barglass and Auchnerran where you turn Northeast towards a side road NJ425039. Turn right and proceed for 200 metres taking the path on left northeast into Logie Coldstone. Turn left and walk along the A97 to the village hall at the western end of the village where the bus will be parked. Distance: about 11 kilometres.
