BUS departs Aberdeen 8.00am.

Our bus will be parked all day at NGR 109 702, where several walks commence. Please indicate to the person in charge today which walk you will be taking, before leaving the bus. We have suggested 3 walks, but you may think differently & if so you must discuss & obtain agreement from the person in charge.

1 Glas Tulaichan (1051m). Cross the bridge and go right towards Dalmunzie Hotel (2.2Km). Continue past Glen Lochsie Farm and onto the dismantled railway line to eventually reach the ruined Glen Lochsie Lodge. Take the track N.wards (NGR 062 726) to eventually reach the summit of Glas Tulaichan. Return to the bus ,either by retracing your steps OR by walking NE.wards towards Loch nan Eun, then S.wards on a path down the east side of Allt Easgaith to join a wide track in Glean Taitneach which takes you back to the bus. Walking distance approx. 14 miles.

2 Ben Earb (801m). Cross the bridge and follow the road towards the demolished Spittal of Glenshee Hotel. At NGR 109 698, go through a gate and follow the path up Coire Lairige to its summit at An Larig. Go NW.wards along a fence towards the summit of Ben Earb. From the summit head NWwards to soon reach Meall a’Choire Buidhe (868m) and further on to reach Meall Ruidh Mor Thearlaich (815m). At the summit retrace your steps back to the col at NGR 056718 then go Neastwards (no path) for short distance then take the ridge Nwards down to the burn to reach a good path just up from Glen Lochsie Lodge. Follow this path SEwards and go right at a junction NGR 077 718. This track returns to the start point at the Spittal of Glenshee. Walking distance approx. 10 miles

3 Ben Gulabin (806m). Head up the main road Nwards & at approx. NGR 114 714, take the track NWwards to gain the ruin of the old ski station. At NGR 108 726 take the path SW.wards to the summit of Ben Gulabin. From the summit, descend (no path) NWwards down to the burn from Coire Shith & follow the burn into Gllean Taitnach and return to the bus. Walking distance approx. 5 miles.
