The walk commences at Braedownie at the head of Glen Clova (NGR.287.758) where we take the road up Glen Doll to Glendoll Lodge where the river is crossed and the Kilbo path taken. We climb through the trees up the Shank of of Drumfollow crossing Cairn Dye to enter trees again down to the ruin at Kilbo (NGR 248.709) .
The path is taken westwards skirting trees to a dip between Broom Hill and Craigie Thieves and now heading southwards enter the trees at the head of Glen Finlet following the Finlet burn to NGR232.654 . Take path upwards, crossing the Finlet Burn, to a col between Bada Crionard and Craigie Law. At NGR 224.658 take the path on the west side of Craigie Law and follow this past Tulloch along the edge of the trees to Freuchies and East Mill. From there the road westwards for about a quarter of a mile is then followed to reach Kirkton of Glenisla and the hotel where the bus will be parked. (NGR.216.605).
