Bus leaves Aberdeen at 9 .00 am.

The main walk is a circular one, so any members wanting a shorter, or different walk, should liaise with the committee member in charge of the bus, prior to you leaving the bus.

1. From the bus (NGR 754 090), walk S’wards to Housedale (NGR 754 082). Turn right and walk W’wards, then SW’wards and NW’wards to gain the main Dunecht to Echt road. Cross the road with care and continue W’wards towards Upper Bromhill and at approx. (NGR 725 080) go left S’wards to the top of Barmekin Hill. After the top, continue S’wards to pick up a path going E’wards towards Upper Mains. Cross the main road B977 with care and head for North Mains. Go NE’wards towards North Monecht and at approx. (NGR 751 070) head towards Dunecht House, keeping the loch on your left. At approx. (NGR 757 074) return to the bus by heading N’wards. Bus will be parked at approx. (NGR 754 090). Walking distance approx. 7.5 miles.
2. There are numerous walks in the Dunecht Estate. Please tell your committee member in charge of the outing today, which walk you will be doing. Prior to you leaving the bus.
