A fine dry day for our walk a bit breezy and overcast but sun came out in afternoon. 22 walkers on the bus. Most did the full walk with 2 staying on the bus enjoying a stop with morning coffee at Bridge of Alford with Jules the driver – she is always happy to make a wee stop for coffee. The 2 who stayed on the bus had a walk up past Terpersie Castle which was restored from a ruin in the 1980s. The fields near Tullynessle were full of little lambs enjoying the sun. On the way back to Aberdeen had a stop in Alford where a variety of beverages and food were enjoyed at the Haughton, the Bistro, the chip shop, the ice cream shop and the Cheery Cup where a couple of the girls managed to get free scones with their coffee as it was about to close.
