The last 8.00am walk of the year attracted 29 walkers, including a few new faces for the short run to Lumphanan where we started. 2 people stayed on the bus going round to Corrennie Forest at Tillyfourie; while the rest navigated their way through Cloak Wood and over Benaquhallie after which the route to the forest track seemed to vary (some chose a more awkward route) others took the easier option over Red Hill and down through some heather and the edge of the forest to pick up the main track to where the bus was waiting. Leaving early we arrived back in Aberdeen on time after a refreshment stop in Alford. Hamish
