There were 21 members on today’s walk. We had a comfort stop in Edzell before travelling to the start of the walk at Invermark. Wendy stayed on the bus to do some painting at Glen Tanar. There was a good path all the way to the summit of Mount Keen, the last 500 feet was in the mist and was very windy. Lunch was taken at the top out of the wind. Once we dropped down and out of the mist we got beautiful views of Glen Tanar. At the head of the glen just over the bridge we had a break to enjoy the sun, another break was taken at the halfway hut, then onwards to the bus. Everyone was back on time and we enjoyed a half hour pub stop at The Boat Inn, Aboyne. Jules our bus driver got us safely were back to Aberdeen by 7pm. Alan
