24 walkers set off on a damp day and 19 did the full route encountering very wet and also snowy conditions at the top of Mona Gowan. The other 5 took the bus to the finish point and did a walk through trees which helped to shield them from the worst of the weather. The walkers through the trees managed to stop for a quick cuppa but the others kept on to enjoy a break when they got back to the bus. The bus left early so we were able to enjoy a 40 minute stop in Alford to enjoy the pub and coffee shop. We all enjoyed the day despite the weather with one walker saying she hadn’t been so wet for a long time. Heather
