There were 26 on today’s walk from Easter Balmoral to Spittal of Glenmuick. Although it was slightly damp in Aberdeen at 8am by the time we reached the drop off point there was no hint of rain. 6 of the group opted for the higher path via the Gelder Shiel, most took the wide track via Tom Bad a Mhonaidh and Inchnabobart while the bus took the resident artist and one other round to Loch Muick. As the day progressed the clouds broke giving a glimpse of sunshine and an early lunch stop was appreciated 500 metres west of Inchnabobart. All walkers were back at the car park by or soon after 2.30pm and a refreshment stop at Ballater was enjoyed by all. Julie, our bus driver for the day got us back to Aberdeen on time. Hamish
