A good turn out of 24 walkers saw us return to the Invermark area and Mount Keen. Walks were decided upon and groups went about their own challenges for the day. Twelve opted to bag the Mount Keen munro, either on its own or completing the full circular route. Eleven others were split between routes to the Queens Well, Loch Lee or Balnamoon’s Cave. One explorer went searching for an old mine in the area among other things.

The weather was a bit of a mixed bag both being dry and reasonable at the lower levels but a bit cold and wet on the top of the hills. Everyone was back around 5pm so it was off to Edzell for a pub stop or a chippy. Thanks to Kyle, our driver for the day.

Finally, congratulations to Jenni and Kerry-Anne on completing their first munro! There will be options to climb some more in the coming weeks and months as we will be out to Lochnagar and Mayar/Driesh in the coming weeks. Look forward to seeing you all there!
