Today’s walk had 28 attendees for a relatively easy coastal route from just north of St Cyrus to Inverbervie. Most of us alighted from the bus at the holiday park while 2 stayed on till St Cyrus to do a walk round the headland as the tide was low before rejoining the coastal path.
The weather was dry with clear skies and a cool breeze from the south. At Tangleha  we paused to say hi to a pair of miniature goats, it was then an easy wander past the old lime kilns  at Seagreens to Johnshaven where we had a short stop overlooking the harbour. The lunch stop was near the Haughs of Benholm then on through Gourdon pausing to have a look at the wood carvings on display before the short walk round past Horse Crook Bay to the car park at Inverbervie where the bus was waiting. There was time for a visit to the coffee shop or one of the bars before leaving just after 3pm. Our driver got us back to Aberdeen around 4pm after a thoroughly enjoyable day out. Hamish
