We set off from Aberdeen with a lower than normal 23 walkers to head up royal Deedside to Linn o Dee.
With the weather forecasting to be warm and sunny the sun cream was applied and extra water packed all round.
Although 3 walks were on offer there was only 2 chosen with 12 setting off to tackle Derry Cairngorm and 10 to Glen Quioch.
The weather delivered as promised and made conditions tough going for all. 3 unfortunately didn’t make the top of Derry Cairngorm but the rest made it up and back in good time.
The Glen Quinch group took couple different routes round the area and enjoyed time at the punch bowl where some even had a paddle.
Everyone was back ahead of our 6.30 scheduled departure allowing for a refreshment stop at Ballater on the way home.
There were a few moans of sore legs and feet on the bus but a good day was had by all and it was good to see the sun.
Wendy 😊
