19 walkers braved the torrential rain today. 13 walkers decided to do the main walk starting at the car park near Suie Hill in saturated, muddy paths making the walk to the Bennachie Visitor Centre carpark very challenging. 1 walker diverted to Watch Craig and the other 10 walkers followed the walk route. 6 walkers chose to take the lower level paths from Bennachie Visitor Centre carpark towards the Back of Bennachie carpark via The Turnpike and various other paths and then back to the Bennachie Visitor Centre carpark achieving approximately 10 miles through wet and muddy paths. Everyone arrived back on the bus by 4.15pm but due to it being a wet and soggy and challenging day due to the water logged paths we unanimously decided that heading home to Aberdeen was the best option so off to town we went arrived back at approximately at 5.15pm.
