Todays walk had an excellent turnout with 33 walkers on the bus, probably because the route was along the bed of an old railway between Cragganmore and Craigellachie everyone opted for the main walk.
After a slightly chilly start it warmed up in the sun with various people were stopping to remove a layer or two. Lunch was had either on a bench or two sittings at the picnic table beside Carron. The second half of the walk continued down past Aberlour through a short tunnel to Craigellachie with the different groups arriving between 3.15 and 4pm allowing time for refreshments to be had at the cafe in the playpark, the local pub or just take photos of the original bridge over the River Spey. We left ½ hour early about 4.55 and our driver, Kyle, had us back in Aberdeen soon after 6pm. Hamish.
