Eighteen walkers were out today on various routes on Aberdeen’s local hill, Bennachie. It was good to be out and the weather, whilst mild in temperature, meant any views were unfortunately obscured by the mist and the wind was gusty at points.

There were a variety of different routes taken. One group completed the Little Oxen Craig/Oxen Craig/Craigshannoch/Mither Tap route. Another group went over Oxen Craig dropping down to join the Gordon Way back to the Bennachie Visitor Centre whilst one walked routes from the Visitor Centre itself and another did the Turnpike road finishing at the Visitor Centre

Slightly damp, we made the decision to forego a pub stop and be back in Aberdeen in good time. Many thanks to our driver Peter who skilfully navigated the bus through some tight turns in the car parks.

And to finish, many thanks to all walkers who have been out with us this year. We look forward to seeing you back next year!
