There were 26 members on the bus, the weather was fine and dry, a little windy at higher levels. We stopped at Stracathro services on the way down and turned off the A90 at Finavon onto increasingly narrow roads to park at Glenley for the walk. Twenty members did the main walk, returning between 3pm and 4pm. Most of the others did shorter walks around the reservoir, which has many trees and a variety of birdlife. The area is a well-run shooting estate and there were hundreds of young pheasants on the tracks around the reservoir. The bus left on time and we stopped for refreshments at the Finavon Hotel. David
