22 walkers turned out for today’s walk on a fresh autumnal day starting at Drumfergue with several miles of woodland trails, which was good practice for navigation. During the day there were 2 or 3 showers but everyone had on waterproofs as it was cool at the start, but we were soon feeling warm once we started walking. Coming over the west shoulder of Tap o` Noth we past a recently erected mobile telephone mast where most turned uphill to ascend the hill, 4 of the group took the easier option by continuing down to the A941 and into Rhynie. Two of the group managed to come down a rather strange way! With everyone back safely, the bus was able to depart early for a refreshment stop in Alford and returning to Aberdeen about 6pm. Hamish
