We had fine sunny weather leaving Aberdeen, and it remained so all day. It is a shame there was a low turnout of only eleven walkers on the bus to enjoy this beautiful day. Our comfort stop in Ballater was unsuccessful, as Aberdeenshire council have decided that no one needs to use the facilities before 10 am. Fortunately, the car park at Keiloch has a toilet. All three suggested routes were done, with five walkers each climbing Culardoch or Craig Leek, and one for Carn Liath. We finished the walks earlier than scheduled and enjoyed a pub stop in Ballater before the return to Aberdeen. Janet
